F.A.Q.
Q. What options do I have to order music from AnderKamp Music?
A. You can have products shipped to you or you can download them straight off the web. You can place orders online, by phone, fax or email.
Q. How do I pay for products from AnderKamp Music?
A. We use paypal to process payments now. If you do not have a paypal account, you can enter credit card information through paypal for no additional fee.
Q. What do I need to view and print arrangements from AnderKamp Music?
A. AnderKamp Music downloadable charts are in .pdf format. You need Acrobat Reader to open, view and print these files. This program is free and if it is not already on your computer (in most all cases it is), you can click on theĀ Acrobat Readeroption on our site and download it.
Q. Can I hear audio samples of arrangements online?
A. Online audio samples of all recorded arrangements are available in MP3 format in the product description of each title in the catalog section of the site. You’ll see something like “Click below to hear sample” and you..well..you..click below.
Q. What do the Grade Levels mean?
A. AnderKamp Music’s Grading System is as follows: Grade 1-average beginning high school level players Grade 2-average high school level players Grade 3-above average high school level players Grade 4-advanced high school level players Grade 5-college level players.
Q. I love your arrangement of ______________, but I could really use a substitution part that is not listed. How can you help me?
A. We will create custom substitition parts free of charge and email them to you. Finale files can also be emailed if you like to make the changes yourself.
Q. Can I have some music shipped to me and download others?
A. You can order in any combination of shipping formats.
Q. What if my internet crashes while I’m downloading files that I’ve already paid for?
A. You are given 3 downloads of each arrangement. If something happens, just email us and we can send you the file. You WILL get your music!
Q. I’m trying to download the free arrangements or the downloadable files I’ve ordered, and they keep opening in my web browser. I can’t save them to my computer. How do I fix this?
A. Your computer’s internet settings are set to open .pdf files with what’s called an Acrobat Viewer plug-in. In the preferences section of your internet program, there’s a section about Receiving Files and a File Helper section within that area. Change the download helpers so that .pdf files are opened using the Acrobat Reader application instead of the viewer.
Q. There used to be a ‘bill me’ option. Is that gone?
A. For security purposes, since we are now selling arrangements worldwide, you must pay by credit card or Paypal.
Q. Different products seem to have different delivery options. Why is that?
A. Not all arrangements are available in both downloadable and shippable options. For mostly practical reasons, some arrangements can not be downloaded (CD for example), while other arrangements are only available in electronic formats.
Q. If you do not have what I am looking for, can you help me?
A. We are in contact with most of the publishers of instrumental music on a consistent basis. Give us a call or send us an email with what you are looking for. If we don’t have it, we should be able to recommend other places to look. We also create custom arrangements for Christmas Pageants and other special times. Call us to talk about how we might work with you on your next big production.
Q. I’ve noticed that Benson Music is advertising Jericho Horns in their advertisements. Is it the same series as AnderKamp’s, or is it something different?
A. We have worked out a partnership with Benson Music (under Provident Music Group) to distribute our Jericho Horns Volume 1, 2 and 3. We still sell the arrangements on our site, but you can also order those arrangements directly from Benson Music.
Q. I have copyright questions for a recording coming up or a service that we would like to video. Can you help us, even though we may not be using AnderKamp Music arrangements?
A. Dana Anderson (Jeff’s wife) has been on staff as copyright administrator for the last 3 years at Prism Music and now works on a per project basis with churches and ministries across the United States to help them go through the necessary channels to make their recordings possible. She understands copyright law and can answer whatever questions you might have. Email dana at copyrights@comcast.net.
