00 Horns & Rhythm-Retro Hymns Complete Set
Horns & Rhythm-Retro Hymns is a series of instrumental arrangements of some classic hymns with a twist…a RETRO Twist.
We have taken the feels/grooves of some of the classic 1970s funk tunes and ‘funkified’ the hymns.
INSTRUMENTATION:2 trumpets, 2 trombones, 2 saxes and rhythm
ADDITIONAL INSTRUMENTATION:Flute 1 & 2, Oboe, Clarinet 1 & 2, Violin 1 & 2, Viola, Cello and Bass
We are including a written out bass part and we have practice videos coming soon to YouTube for your drummer, piano/keys, bass and guitar players. Seeing a rhythm chart is great, but HEARING THEIR PART will prove invaluable! We also have written out suggested solos for any of the ad lib solo sections in case your players can’t improvise.
