I love strings. I really do. Having scored over 35 videos and having worked with The Nashville String Machine many, many times, I’m a sucker for lush strings. I have wanted to create a string series for AnderKamp Music for a number of years and the timing finally felt right and everything lined up to do it. So here it is:

Strings & Things

Volume 1

(music for string ensemble)

Arranged for Violin 1, 2, Viola, Cello and String Bass, this series will work with a String Quintet all the way up to a full symphonic string section. Along with the string parts, percussion parts (Timpani, Bells, Snare Drum, Gong, Cymbals etc) have been created.

For churches/groups that do not have a full string section, string synth parts have been created to help support or fill in the ensembles. We have created 4 different string synth parts so if a certain section of your ensemble needs help, you can use the string synth part for THAT particular section. How’s that? I know..pretty cool.

These arrangements sound great but they are not extremely difficult to play. There are a few spots in each arrangement to work on, but these arrangements can be pulled together fairly quickly and will make an excellent addition to a concert or church service. If you are a community orchestra and would like to do a concert in a local church, these arrangements would be PERFECT!
