I wanted to create a very light hearted Irish coast feel and this seemed like the perfect song. Such a beautiful melody (and the words as well!). This specific arrangement is designed along with the rest of the series for string ensemble  (Violin 1, 2, Viola, Cello and Bass), 2 stave percussion and timpani. BUT this specific arrangement also includes french horn and flute parts. There’s a whistle on the recording that is written down for a flute player. If you’ve got access to a whistle player, GREAT!!! If not, you can simply have a flute play it and it will still sound great.

This is a different sort of arrangement from the others. It begins with Be Thou My Vision but goes into a sort of Irish folk type melody that will be a great concert piece. It gives the violins a chance to ‘fiddle’ around.  🙂

Instrumentation: Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello, Bass, 2 Stave Percussion, Timpani, Horn, Flute/Whistle and multiple string synth parts.

The 4 String Synth Parts included are:

Violin 2/Viola, Viola/Cello, Cello/Bass and Viola/Bass
