We got our inspiration by the groove of songs like Play That Funky Music White Boy. A pretty standard funk groove PLUS, wait for it…Cowbell! There are some fun solo opportunities and we have suggested solos written out to help your players get started improvising. The trombone solo on the 2nd verse is written down an octave. He just played it up because he could. Your lead trombone player will love this arrangement. It’s his chance to shine!
